Ye’ Olde Mill Velvet Ice Cream

On our way to Mohican State Park, we made a slight detour to eat lunch at Ye’ Olde Mill Velvet Ice Cream. Velvet Ice Cream no longer manufactures ice cream there, but it is a nice stop to eat and for the kids to burn off some energy on a road trip. At the site, there are shelter houses, a playground, a duck pond and a restaurant with some historical displays. Our food was good and the ice cream delicious. While it is not a destination in itself, if you are in the area, it is a nice stop.
